1 John 5:4 – For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
For the week of Sept.1st to Sept. 7th we will seek the Lord and achieve the victory that overcometh the world through fasting. If you’ve been struggling with direction or guidance, if you don’t know who you are/what your purpose is in life, if you have addictions that are causing you to lose your soul/if you don’t know if you have any
addictions…if you desire a better quality of life including peace of mind about your past, present and future, then God is inviting you now to take on this challenge to discover the answers, receive power and be an overcomer.
That said, may the online discussions begin! As you will notice, there are entries posted on this board from previous fasting groups. And you are free to comment on any topic, whether new or old. Nevertheless, it would be best if our posts were strictly related to fasting and what we experience during this week. Posts may consist of general comments, questions, testimonies, and prayer requests. Still, I encourage everyone to keep the messages clean, courteous and considerate. Please be mindful should a discussion or debate arise, let us remember to share our thoughts with love and kindness. As you know, each day we have scripture readings. And so please feel free to share what you have learned regarding these readings and how they apply to your lives.
